The hybrid concept of the Airity Hybrid series offers a huge variety of technological highlights of DAIWA's exclusive rod building technology and combines unique components with modern design.

Original Fuji SiC K guides are used for the butt guide and the two following guides, while the unique DAIWA AGS carbon guides are installed for all following positions.
This hybrid concept clearly demonstrates the remarkable advantages of AGS guides in practical use – the fast tip of the SVF Nanoplus blank reacts extremely quick due to the weight saving and does not swing. DAIWA AGS guides are approx. 40% lighter than conventional SiC guides with metal frames in the same size. The outstanding hardness and torsional strength of the carbon guides immediately transfer all vibrations and contacts directly onto the blank and into your hand. This results in an incredibly sensitive lure feeling, that will support detection even of the finest bites.
The blanks are also featuring the exclusive X45X technology. This special carbon mat arrangement on the blank surface significantly improves the compression and thus creates an incomparable torsional strength under load. The X45X material also provides an outstanding carbon look on the surface of the blank. All models feature an extremely fast tip action with a stiff backbone – perfect to set the hook at long distances. The exclusive DAIWA Air Sensor reel seat is made of a composite carbon material, is extremely light and torsion-resistant and feels very comfortable in the palm. The split handle made of high-quality AAA cork and EVA material also visualizes the hybrid concept of this exceptional series. All rods starting from 2.4m length include a inner balance weight to further improve the balance and feeling during usage. The line-up of the Airity Hybrid series covers the most important methods and is particularly suitable for use with softbaits. The 2.95m model was specially developed for use on large rivers, canals and lakes and enables precise casting to distant spots with lure weights up to 50g. The Airity Hybrid rods are supplied in a high-quality and heavy padded transport holdall that takes up the fully assembled rod.
